Question about Kenmore 72062 Gas Dryer
Kenmore gas dryer model 110.72812100 will start, heat, and then the burner goes out. I have taken the back off and there are no obstructions to air flow. Where do I go from here? I don't have an electrical drawing to help.
The issue is with the gas valve solenoids getting weak when heated resulting in the closing of the gas valves and going out of the burner. Replace both solenoids to address the problem and put the dryer back into normal operation. The solenoids are part numbers 694539 and 694540.
Pull the lint trap out then remove the screws under it.
Pry the top cover as shown then raise it to the rear of the dryer.
Remove the screws attaching the front panel to the cabinet then lift and remove the panel. Replace the solenoid coils then reassemble the dryer in reverse ordeKenmore model 110.72812100 will start, heat, and - 35e18ab.jpgsassembly steps.
