My car doesn't change from 1st gear upwards

When asking car questions it really helps to know what you are working on. In general, newer cars use electronic transmissions, so you may just have a bad 1-2 shift solenoid. This is vary common in certain vehicles, and by removing the lower transmission pan you can visually inspect the shift solenoids to see if they have come apart. Some repair kits include a part to prevent this from happening again.

Computer will not turn on how to fix it

I do not have experience with the Acer Aspire 5600U, so I will write about such problems in general. A desktop computer that will not turn on usually has a bad power supply, assuming you've checked the power outlet, power cord to the computer, and the fuse in the power supply. Many computers and monitors built a few years ago have electrolytic capacitors in the power supply that go bad. You can identify a bad capacitor visually. It either leaks or the top of the capacitor is no longer flat but bulges. Desktop computers with bad power supplies commonly have two bad electrolytic capacitors that bulge on top. To fix the problem, you have to be comfortable unsoldering the bad part(s) and soldering in the replacement(s). You also have to be able to identify the specifications of the part(s) you need to replace. A Google search on replacing bad capacitors will give you lots of information, including a number of good YouTube videos. Alternatively, you can buy a replacement power supply.

I havent got a problem just need to see a manuel so i can follow the instucions as i dont have a clue

You probably need to get a book on your computer from Amazon, a step by step or visual guide to your computer. Avoid for dummies books as they are reference guides. You may also find useful books in your local library.

Manuals for computers generally have what each part does in a basic form but are practically useless if you want to learn your computer with.

How to add a picture in a field in Visual foxpro. I could do it earlier in Foxpro for Windows with the APPEND GENERAL command but now it only saves the filename and not the actual picture. Please help.

The type of the field should be GENERAL.
Try this command: APPEND GENERAL <fld_name> FROM <url_file>
For example: APPEND GENERAL my_gral_fld FROM 'c:\my_file.jpg'
Good luck!

Ice maker

Generally not. They do have a float to control water fill and an arm or visual sensor to determine when the bucket is full. If the unit isn't working, some allow you to remove them for cleaning. Remove it and visually check it out...including corrosion of power connectors.
