GE Profile washer # WPGT9350COWW Will not power up all electrical is good. Opened main board housing and in the corner the green part of the board is a brownish color. The rest of the oard is green. Is the main pcd board bad? Could there be anything else. I looked at the display board and it looks fine. Did have lighting storms a few days prior.

The line voltage filter where the power cord connects to has a fuse that may have been blown and result in power not getting to the power board. Check voltage on both ends of the filter and make sure both ends have the same voltages. The power board is indeed dead if the line filter is good and power is being fed into it but fails to power up. The power board is part number WH12X10245 and number 60 in the exploded view diagram while the filter is number 241.

If there are burn marks on the main board making the green area turn brown wouldnt the board have burned and cause this?

I would definitely say yes if you are certain that those are burn marks. The outlined checks in the previous post are just to make sure that power is getting to the power board. It will help if you can post photos of the board showing those burn marks.

The control panel will not work, no lights on panel.

First make sure you house fuse or breaker didn't trip. If you have power to the dryer house outlet, next check the connections where the big 220 volt power cord goes into the dryer. Should be a small access cover you can take off to look at the power cord connections. Sometimes when they are first installed they are not put on tight. Over time they over heat and burn at the connectors. If either side is burned that may be your problem. If all connectors are good, you could have 2 possible circuit boards bad. 1 would be the display board itself (the one with the touch screen) or the main PCB board under the control panel in a tan looking cover box.

GE Profile Harmony Washer WPGT9350COWW - Motor is not rotating properly

I once found the lid switch on a model similar to yours that was in between working and literally falling apart. When we removed the front and popped the top the **** thang fell apart. We bypassed it completely and it magically came back to life. Far as I know it still kickin.

It sounds like your drain hose is kinked or blocked, or maybe the pipe that the drain hose drains into is blocked. Somehow water is now being allowed to get out of the machine at the end of the cycle and is staying in the machine. Check those hoses and pipes.

Did you check the terminal block where the cord plugs up and ohm the wires in the main cord? If thats not the problem then you might have a bad computer and or inverter.

Oven popped and smoked

seatie, as long as you have the breaker off to the oven you should be o.k. Sounds like something shorted to the oven cabinet. It could be the terminal connection on the heating element itself. The main board could of shorted out. Without being there it's hard to tell, but you will be fine until GE arrives as long as the breaker to the oven is off. Catriver.
