Hi marilynh57....
Try removing the fan blades and putting them into different positions.
This will sometimes solve your wobbling problem as some fan blades are heavier than others and this causes the wobble you experiance.

My wall ceiling fan's control unit UC 9051T failed. Light switch button does not work. If I replace it with some generic universal unit, do I need to replace transducer located in the fan housing also, or...

First, you didn't say you checked that the bulb worked. Is that burned out?

If bulb is ok, you will have to make sure the switch is matched with the fan (ususally a set of 4, 6 or 8 micro-switches have to be set the same in both switch and fan to be on same frequency of communication - even if you have an exact US 9051T controller).

A whole new fan is not too expensive ($100) and may be best route if you use the fan alot and it is over 7 years old - just an option.

Also, just because the light doen't work doesn't mean it is the switch transmitter that is broken, it could also be the receiver. Call the company on the website below - they will either tell you how to check or you can send everything to them and they will check for you.

Sorry for making it so difficult - I hope it is just your bulb.

Hi. I have misplaced the remote for my Aloha Breeze ceiling fan. How can I get a replacement?

Look on this site http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/brands-products/Aloha-housewares-Inc-Parts/Fan-Parts;jsessionid=EhpYk2SBMad9Blbgl+MKrg**.pdapp401p2 to see if they have the model number and part. You'll probably find that the replacement part costs near as much as the whole thing did tho.

My silent ionic breeze GP just stopped working (no blue light, no static). only a couple of years old. cleaned weekly. how do I obtain someone to possibly fix it as trouble finding replacement?

http://www.airpurifierrepair.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ID=0&ProductId=473&gclid=CKWj6N--u6cCFYjsKgodLxrBBQ

Airpurifierrepair will fix your unit but it starts at 159.00 flate fee.
Here are some other things to try first:
Dirty Collection Grid.
  • In case of a problem with your Ionic Breeze air purifier, the first thing you should do is clean the collection grid. According to the Ionic Air Breeze instruction manual, the most common problem with the units is that the collection grid gets too dirty and the unit no longer effectively cleans the air. Removing the collection grid from the top of the unit, then wiping it down with a damp sponge or rag, as well as turning the entire unit upside down several times to dump out any dirt from inside the housing, will help restore the unit to maximum operating efficiency.

Glowing Blue
  • Another common problem with the Ionic Breeze unit is that it no longer glows blue, which it is supposed to do when operating in germicidal protection mode. If the unit is no longer glowing, it is likely that the UV fluorescent bulb inside the unit has died or has decreased in output. The bulbs are meant to last for about a year, and touching the bulbs or getting them in contact with oil or dirt will shorten their lifespan. Try replacing the light bulb before assuming there is a more serious problem with your Ionic Breeze air freshening unit.

Transformer or Circuitry Issues
  • Other problems that may occur with the Ionic Breeze that you will need to troubleshoot and repair include transformer or circuitry problems. If the transformer goes bad, the unit will not work at all, and will have no power when you attempt to turn it on. Similar problems can occur if the circuit board is defective. Because of the danger of electrical shock or damage, it is best if you have a repair facility work on your Ionic Breeze unit if you suspect transformer or circuitry problems

My hunter ceiling fan is not working and according to hunter technical support, I need to replace the remote control receiver (part # 8511204000) at a cost of 50.00 plus shipping.is there a way to by-pass...

If the product did not come with a manual control on it then yes you will have to use the remote. However, if the replacement remote will cost nearly as much as the ceiling fan itself you could simply purchase a new fan.

My Hampton Bay ceiling remote model no. UC7030T does not work. How can I get another one. My fan will not work without it.

First, be sure you did not change one of the dip switches in the hand held unit while changing batteries. You would have to see if the switches in the hand held unit match the switch positions in the fan receiver.
This is one of the many sites you can go to for remotes:
http://www.lightinguniverse.com/fan-accessories_84.html
Hampton Bay fans are sold exclusively by Home Depot. I would check on line or stop by one of their stores to see if you can pick up a HB remote. Once you get a new remote you have to again make sure the dip switches are in the same position. Paul
