Re: master key code
Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter your 8 digit
confirmation number there. When you do so, make sure that whatever
today's date is, your Wii is set to that date. (And select Today's date
from one of the 3 possible choices.)
(To get the confirmation number, go into Parental control settings,
click I forgot on enter pin screen, and Click I forgot on answer secret
question screen. This is where you come to where you enter the master
password, and the confirmation number you need, to get this master
You have two options to getting past the Parental Code in the Wii System Settings:
1) If you have forgotten the PIN, select ” I forgot” to answer the secret
question. (Answers to the secret question are case sensitive.) You will
now be in the Parental Controls menu, and can change the following
items:Game Settings and PIN
2) If you are unable to retrieve your PIN by answering your
secret question, call Nintendo Consumer Service: 1-800-255-3700. Have your Wii serial number (located on the back of the Wii console) ready. A customer service rep. can help you unlock it.
- If you need clarification, ask it in the comment box above.

Tip: The max point reward for answering a question is 15.
You can call Nintendo at 1-800-255-3700 for help. He,or She will give you a master key to clear the parental controls, and reset you password.
Note. A master key is a 5 digit code Nintendo assigns your system. This code can only be used for 24 Hrs. Hope this helps.
Step 1: When you are on the PIN screen, choose "I forgot." Step 2: When you are on the secret question screen, choose "I forgot". Step 3: Call Nintendo Customer Service at 1-800-255-3700 and provide the inquiry number shown and the date on your Nintendo DSi. Step 4: You will then be issued a master key. Tap OK. Step 5: Enter the master key and tap OK.
Alternatively, if you click forgot password twice it will give you a confirmation #. The website below is rumored to be able to take your confirmation # and give you the reset code.
I haven't tested the second method myself personally, but I do know calling nintendo WILL work.
Click the "Wii" button located on the bottom left corner of the screen on the Wii Main menu.
Click the "Wii Settings" button on the System Settings screen. Look for the button with the wrench icon.
Move to the second page of the Wii System Settings screen by clicking the blue arrow.
Click the "Parental Controls" button on the second System Settings screen.
Click "I Forgot" when asked asked to enter your four-digit PIN.
Answer the secret question displayed on the screen. You provided the question when you set up your Wii. Note that the answer to the question is case sensitive.
If you answer correctly, you'll have access to the Parental Control Settings. Reset your PIN on this screen by entering a new PIN number and a new answer to the secret question, then clicking OK.
Click "I Forget" if you can't remember the answer to the question. Nintendo displays a message screen with text telling you to contact Nintendo customer support. At the bottom of the screen is a confirmation number.
Write down the confirmation number so you don't forget it, and leave your Wii turned on with the confirmation number screen displayed.
Call Wii customer support at 800-255-3700. Tell Nintendo customer support your confirmation number. You'll receive a master key code to reset your parental control PIN. Write down the master key code.
Return to your Wii, and click the "Enter Master Key" button. On the Master Key screen, enter the five-digit master key you received from Nintendo customer support, then click "Confirm Master Key." The Wii displays a message stating that "Parental Controls are Now Disabled." Click "OK" for the Wii to return you to page two of the Wii Systems Setting screen.
Click the "Parental Controls" button on the Wii System Settings screen. The Parental Controls screen will now show that you have no parental control settings enabled. Enter a new four-digit PIN number and secret question to reset your PIN, then click "OK."
Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter your confirmation number there, and select the Date that your Wii is showing.
(Note, this 5 digit Master key changes every day, and is also tied to the specific console, but if you go to the site I mentioned above, you can get the correct Master Key for your console, for whatever Today's date is. (Make sure your Wii is set to Today's date.))
