Question about Yahoo Messenger
Just go to the browser and press clt+alt+shift key and clear it. Or Go to run and type cookies and then enter, you will see all cookies just delete all by pressing shift+del

1) Set your status in Yahoo Mail next to your name to 'Offline' by using the dropbox arrow or clicking on the smiley and opting for "Sign out of chat" This will allow you to have both programs open without being signed out of chat by Yahoo
2) Clear your browser(s) out
Download 'ccleaner' and use it daily. Run it through a couple of times,using the factory settings and the 'Run Cleaner' control until 0 bytes are seen to be cleaned following a scan
Run the 'Registry' from the left hand toolbar but 'Save' any changes after opting to 'repair' errors.Never make changes to your Registry without saving the information.
