Question about Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W30 Digital Camera
I have a dsc-w30 that had some damage done to the lens. The lens would not extend or retract. It was actually bent out of place (don't ask, it's actually my niece's). So I found someone who sells the lens (CCD) assembly online and ordered it for about $50. I installed the lens assembly and now although it works the image seen through it makes everything look like a "negative". It's got digital vertical lines and the colors are black, white and purple. I was wondering if anyone knew of a CCD adjustment or a master reset to possible bring my image back to specs. The LCD display is fine as I can see old photos from the memory card on it. Thanks for the effort.
Ok there is no master reset for the CCD any how take the Old CCD from the other lens and put it on the new lens make sure the ribbon cables are straite in the socket and you should be good to go. hope this helps if you need any more help let me know goto www.digitalcamrepair.com for more help.
