A lady wants to sell a kabota tractor and wants to go through ebay for protection???

Craig's List will probably work better to advertise something large like a tractor to regional buyers but she needs to be prepared to transport the tractor to a safe location away from her home to show it or sell it. Some communities are setting up safe locations for people buying and selling through Craig's List to meet. Another suggestion would be to rent a storage unit large enough to hold the tractor and store it there. When someone is interested, she MUST take someone with her to meet buyers. For added protection, she can ask anyone who contacts her and wants to see the tractor to email a scan of their driver's license to her before agreeing to meet. If someone who does not match the picture on the license shows up, she should remove herself from the situation immediately.

My MacBook Pro 15" is rejecting all of my DVDs

ifixit.com has instructions on how to replace it. You can buy parts there too. You can look up part number and search ebay for a better price and still use ifixit.com for how to replace it.

You can also get an external optical drive that runs on mac or pc for like 15-150 bucks off ebay. Comes in an enclosure and has a usb cable. Apple sells them too for like 79 bucks I think.

Hp laptop wont power on

It is usually the case -- when one will not power on -- that the charger has quit working and the battery is drained. If you have (or know someone who has) a multimeter, you can test the charger simply by plugging it in and seeing if it is producing proper voltage.

You can buy generic chargers at most walmart stores. They're somewhat pricey. Also Best Buy sells them. But if you have access to another computer and can order one, you'll save $$$. You can buy one off ebay for under 15 bucks.

I hope this is helpful and wish you luck. If so, please rate me...

I am looking for a free manual for a Singer model 400 or 401A. I just had the machine reconditioned and want to ship it to a church in Kentucky.

This machine is vintage status and manuals may be somewhat hard to come by as they are considered a strong plus to sell with an original. I don't think anyone would just give it you for free because they will generally sell standalone on ebay for 10 to 15 bucks.

WONT TURN ON

Digital cameras really are battery hogs (especially cameras that use only 2 AA's). Some brands of batteries will have problems just starting up the camera. This may be true even if they're alkaline, brand new, and just out of the package.

Recommend rechargeable NiMH batteries only for your camera. Believe Canon even states this in their user manual. Walmart sells these for around $7 for a package of four (about $15-19 for the batteries with charger). Keep in mind they'll save you big bucks in the long run over alkalines, AND they'll last for at least 100 pictures per charge (and probably many many more). You'll be very pleased with their performance, and may slap yourself for not buying them sooner. When at the store, look on the package for a power rating of at least 2500 mah.

If the above doesn't work, here's some other things to try:

Sounds like the power circuit on it is dead, I doubt anyone sells the boards for a pda like that but you never know, check ebay.
