Since you don't indicate the make and model, I can't give you specifics, but when I had this problem it turned out to be a dirty carb. This can cause uneven fuel flow and loss of power. At full throttle, you may not be getting sufficient fuel to work properly. Try cleaning the carb a nd update this with the results.

SOURCE: I want a phone number
I agree. At least give us a phone number that is disconnected so we know you care.
Anyway, for a few bucks more, fixya has experts who get paid to hear your pain. Pay them to help you get the job done. See if fixya works for you.
If these companies offered phone service, they'd be covered up with calls, and the folks answering the phones would have to be as expert as you are at your job ... and they'd have to know every single model and part number and assembly feature. That would be hard to find professional phone talkers. But fixya is trying to fill the gap.
I can see the companies are changing. More of them are posting manuals. And posting their old manuals too. But the manuals do NOT have the level of detail that professionals like you need. They need to post more detail. But I think they have short manuals to save paper when they mail out a product .... on-line they could have longer manuals.
A lot of people are saying the same thing you are. Things change when we complain.
Bump up a dollar and try the fixya experts, and then speak up if it doesn't work.
