Password to unlock Oritron dvd player

The Oritron DVD player is showing that it needs a password to unlock it. We don't have one. Any suggestions?

    All of a sudden, the DVD player is saying it's locked and we need a password to get in. The password is only four characters. Help!

Would you like to unlock your Oritron Diamond DVD-200 DVD Player to Region Free?

Follow these steps to unlock your Oritron Diamond DVD-200 DVD Player:

  1. Press the Menu button on your remote control.
  2. Press the 9 button on your remote control.
  3. Press the Open/Close button on your remote control, (note the tray will not open).
  4. Press the 5 button on your remote control.
  5. Press the Mute button on your remote control when presented with the region selection page.
  6. Press the OK button on your remote control when presented with the region selection page.
  7. Press the Exit button on your remote control when presented with the region selection page.
  8. The word ALL will appear on the screen and your player will now play discs from any region.

Your Oritron Diamond DVD-200 DVD Player is now Region Free.

Parental Password Reset
open the player and look for a battery, if there is one remove it and unplug the player for 24 hrs, if there is ni battery just unplug for 24 hrs. that should reset the password to the default check your manual for the default code

BTW oritron is cyberhome and home electronic
