If you saw arcing chances are that the board is definately fried. Just be sure the board is called the power/filter board if you dont have the proper number

I am fixing a closet in my home. It is part of an exterior wall and creates a lot of coldness in the house. How can I insulate this wall better? My kid is freezing at night she says. <a href

If you have enough room behind the stud wall install 1" rigid foam tape seams and then use the thickest possible roxsul insulation to fill the studs. Or axe the foam and install 6mil plastic on warm side of the wall after insulating tape all seams when done.

My 99 lincoln runs ok but water spraying on windshield n radiator keeps draining im thinking bad hose what else should i check?

You hit the nail on the head. This sounds like a bad heater hose. If so then it may also be wise to replace all the hoses and belts on the vehicle so you only have to drain it down once. Also check the passenger side floor to see if it is wet. If so your heater core could be leaking as well.

No water from spray on base

I had same problem. Remove all fluid from machine, I used a wet dry vac. As someone else said unscrew the 2 screws that hold the filter basket. Take out the filter basket and clean thoroughly. Find plastic hose that is now visible under basket and pull up and remove that (noticing where the slot is to put it back when finished) and pull the screen off top of hose and clean that as well. I then vacuumed out that hose with my wet dry vac. Reassembled everything and now works perfectly.

I want remove the battery before winter. how do i get at it?

Remove the seat , when you take it out . If it has cell check plugs for each cell ? take a look in each cell , fluid should be about 3/4 to 1 in from the top . If everything looks good leave your cell
plugs out . Put it on a slow charge for about an hour . Now put your plugs back in . Clean both terminals with steelwool and take some terminal spray and spray both terminals . You can get
this spray at the auto parts store . Also clean wire terminals on your bike , make them shine
and wipe down your battery box , and everything else under the seat . Take your battery and store
it where the temp stays about the same all day all night Like a closet . You can put it in a box
or plastic bag . Good Luck .

My 1999 Toyota Avalon has a leak that I can't find. When it rains the floor boards on the passenger side are both wet. I have a sun roof so how are the floor boards getting wet and how do I fix it?

There are 2 'weep' holes where tubes come out of the firewall and sometimes they get plugged. Get some compressed air and blow them out.

Also, inside the vehicle, there is a plastic pan that catches all water that might come down from the evaporator or leak from the outside into the interior of the car when the seal is not good between the firewall and the plastic pan that spans from the left to the right of the car under the dash board.

Get some expanding foam in a can and spray it up against the juncture between the firewall and the plastic water pan. This should seal out the problem if done properly.

Over time, the original foam seal goes bad and can actually flake away.

You mentioned the sunroof. Make sure that all the gaskets and that the sunroof does not leak onto the floor. This can be another source of wetness for your vehicle.

Try testing it by spraying water down from a hose to the top of the vehicle, or dumping a bucket of water all at once on the top of the roof. If it leaks, try using silicon sealant to seal any gaps that may exist in the sunroof.

Hope this helps.

After a thorough cleaning, seal the surfaces that are exposed with Acrylic Automotive Top Coat or "Clear Coat". The acrylic base dries to a rock hard finish that is diaelectric in nature and will protect the surfaces it bonds to. Regap from flywheel as normal and this should fix it for two, three years if the machine lives under a tarp in the elements. :D

I have the cash register Casio PCR265P

Hi. Standard problem with this kind of printer. The rotary switch gets dirty. If you want to try fixing it yourself, unplug the machine, remove the screw inside the printer compartment that holds the machine to the drawer. Slide the whole top section forward on the drawer, then lift upwards to remove the cash register from the drawer. Gently turn it over so you can see the bottom side of the printer. On the printer, you will see a black plastic housing at one end with little wires going into it. This is the switch housing. Get a can of general purpose luricant (such as WD40) and spray into the black housing. Try to get the spray into any little gap in the housing, or under a corner. I don't recommend unclipping the housing as it can be difficult to reassemble. Just get the spray generally inside it as much as you can. Don't be afraid to get the spray on other areas, it won't harm it. Your paper might be wet for a few prints that's all.
Once you have sprayed it, plug the machine in and try it. Sometmes it takes a few sprays and on off cycles before it works, but it will usually do the trick if there is nothing else jamming the printer.

Wet/dry Panasonic shaver stopped

503d300.jpg
My model is almost the same as your model ...

Problem: Model ES7037CMB - Over the past month the Panasonic shaver would turn on with 3-4 tries, but now will not turn on at all – the on-off switch must be bad after only 7 months of wet use. Before sending in I found this diagram:

Disassembly: Remove bottom Phillips screw & end cap, pop off each plastic side with fingernails (reinstall them from top 1st), remove 4 screws, remove 2 clips, take top off. Remove battery case and the on-off little, white plastic lever fell out. Slide off the white plastic/metal on-off slider & clean contacts with knife … my bottom contact was black & top was clean.

Assembly: Reinstall on-off slider (white plastic with metal contacts) by sliding back in grooves -- hardest part - place the on-off plastic lever on the battery back unit – I tried to put it on the case and could not get it to stay on. Slide the battery pack back in with the plug prongs in the holes in the end being careful not to drop the on-off lever. Test shaver. Stuff battery wires inside case – screw 4 screws and add 2 clips on, then final screw in the end after cap placed on. Easy once I knew how to put the on-off lever on the battery side – that was tricky. Total time was about 1 hour – next time it will be about 15 minutes. Works great! jgg 12-27-08. Think I will use it dry from now own since it had a lot of whiskers inside of it and maybe wash only the head as needed with baby shampoo.
