Question about George Foreman G5 Indoor Grill
I have a very minor problem with a George Foreman "Champ" Grill. I need to take the cover off the bottom the fix a loose screw. There is a latch that allows the grill to either be tipped at an angle or kept level. The screw worked it's way loose and I have to take the plate on the bottom off.
Are the screws torx screws? They certainly are not allen type. If anyone knows, that would be great!
On mine they are actually "Security Torx, Tamper-Resistant Torx (often shortened to Torx TR), or pin-in-Torx contains a post in the center of the head that prevents a standard Torx driver (or a straight screwdriver) from being inserted." quoted from Wikipedia.
Buy a security bit set or if you don't mind scratches try vise grip pliers on the outside of screw heads.
