Sync windows media player with ipod - Apple iPod nano

Ipods only sync with itunes. There are some third party solutions to sync with Windows Media Player but your best bet is to use itunes.

all ipods only sync with itunes. You can transfer music from media center to itunes by dragging files to MUSIC folder in itunes, then sync.... But only through itunes

For an iPod you have to use iTunes and then click on the iPod on the left side and Sync it. For almost every other MP3 player you can use Windows Media Player. Open it and go to the Sync tab on the top. I like to use a playlist that I've created and Sync that to my MP3 player. The Coby might work different but almost all MP3 players can Sync with Windows Media Player.

you can not sync an iPod with windows media player. if you wish to add the music to your iPod, the only way is to download iTunes.

*insert cd into computer
* a notification will pop up. and you need to download the songs into your library.

The iPod was not designed to sync with Windows Media Player; it only syncs with Apple's iTunes software. iTunes is a free program and can be downloaded from Apple's website. As you can imagine, Apple has no real reason to support Windows Media Player - their hardware is designed to work with their software.
There is only one solution I know of for those who prefer Windows Media Player to iTunes. A German company - MGTEK - has come up with a plug-in that allows the iPod to sync with Windows Media Player. it will not sync with WINDOWS media player without the use of additional software... use APPLE itunes

The only suggested way to sync your ipod is using itunes. and it is free software. If you do not have itunes you will want to go to

Don't use window media player as that will sync the music files as WMA which is not playable on you device.Use itunes and inport tracks and then sync.
