Pump keeps pumping unless turned off at wall

The reason our Asko D3250 had this problem was because of a leak. The pump hose (approx. 2" black rubber hose - find it here http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Pump-Hose/8801409/1810263) was split, causing a leak and the blinking heavy wash light. The sensor did its job and picked up the leak.
If you're handy you don't necessarily need to call a repairman in to accomplish the work. You don't need to pull the front of the dishwasher apart. Unplug the power to the dishwasher. Take off the back bottom panel. Next, test where the leak is coming from. Place pans below the holes found on the bottom of the dishwasher. They are visible when removing the back panel and are most likely at the rear of the dishwasher. Plug the power back in then start the dishwasher. If your problem is a leak, you will easily spot it with a flashlight. After ordering and installing your part, make sure to dry all water that has settled in the bottom of the dishwasher. You can easily accomplish this through the back of the dishwasher with the panel removed. If it's still damp the sensor will continue to detect water. Once dry, start the cycle to make sure there are no more leaks before reinstalling the panel.

1993 tercel(115,000. mi), is it possible for the seal between the fuel pump and fuel tank to begin leaking? Getting small residual leakage running (it appears ) of the top half of fuel tank.

Remove the back seat cushion, the bottom one, and the fuel pump is right there underneath. It has a panel that covers the fuel pump which youll see after you remove the back seat. Remove the panel and you will see whats leaking. Most likely either the fuel inlet, outlet or return line is leaking.

But if something is leaking you will definitely see it.

Kenmore washer 25842 leaks

Repairclinic.com has a repair manual available for Kenmore direct-drive washers for about $20. The item number is 1170635.

The back panel is not designed to come off on this model washer. The operator console comes off, but the panel along the back of the washer does not. You need to remove the exterior washer case to access the internal components.

If you have a leak, the most common cause is a worn drain pump, or leaking drain hoses, but you need to disassemble the washer to be sure. DO NOT lay the washer on its back. The gearcase contains oil and it may leak through the breather hole.

The following link explains how to inspect your washer for leaks:

Read through the instructions provided and let me know if you need further assistance. I hope this help you.

I have a small leak in front of the washer

The best way to find a leak in this machine is to operate it with the cabinet removed. You need to remove the trim caps on the control panel and remove the two screws in the corners. Flip the panel back on it's hinges. Unhook the lid switch harness, and pop out the two gold clips that secure the cabinet to the back panel. Tilt the cabinet back slightly and pull off of the base. With most models, you should still be able to fill the machine with the lid switch disconnected. Check the water pump first for bulging plastic or a small hole, as that's a common leak source. Hope that helps.

Washer leaking

It does not remove from the rear.
There are 2 phillips screws at the back right and left of the control panel.
Remove these screws and lift the control panel forward then backwards.
Unplug the lid switch wire.
Remove the 2 metal clips holding the cabinet to the back panel.
Remove the cabinet by pulling it forward.
Then you can view the leak from the tube causing your problem.

Whirlpool ultimate care II washer leaks

Sounds like the pump is leaking.

Access to inside washer:

This one you remove the whole outside case and not the back.

Remove two screws on each side of the back control panel, you may have to remove the plastic trim on each end of the panel. The control panel flips back so you can remove two brass clips, unplug the wireing in the back center. The whole outside case can be removed.

The pump is in front and held on by two clips.
