Kenmore Refrigerator-Freezer top

My freezer keeps freezing up-then water fills the bottom of the freezer and freezes. Water then starts to fill the refrigerator area. I have cleaned all the coils, etc and the defrost the tube that runs to the drip pan. It lasts about 2 weeks and then has to be done again. Any suggestions?

The freezer freezes up, the drain tube also freezes then it drains into the refrigerator. I have defrosted the freezer and drain tube but it will freeze up again. Any suggestions for repair?

We have got water coming out at the bottom of the freezer of our fridgidair FRC170FF how do i fix it?

1. Your freezer may be not cold enough so water does not freeze.
2. Your freezer may leak so warm air goes into the freezer and keep the temperature higher than freezing temperature.

WATER SPLASHING IN FREEZER AT ICEMAKER
THE FILL TUBE IN BACK OF REFRIGERATOR CAN SLIP
AGAINST THE FILL RESERVOIR CAUSING A PARTIAL BLOCKAGE
OR BECOME CLOGGED WITH ICE.
REMOVE THE ICEMAKER AND INSPECT THE FILL TUBE.
RUN WATER IN TUBE TO ELININATE BLOCKAGE AND CHECK
TEMP IN FREEZER. IF TEMP IS BELOW 0 DEGREES, THATS
OVERKILL AND USUALLY A WASTE OF ELECTRICITY TO KEEP IT THAT COLD, NOT TO MENTION THE FILL TUBE FREEZING UP

Kenmore 10670187000 Refrigerator. freezer filling with water/ice

You pull it out from inside the freezer but I would try melting any ice that may be stopping it up first with a hairdryer. The water inlet valve on the back of fridge is probably leaking and when the water gets to to fill tube it freezes and partially blocks the tube causing it to spray out. Disconnect the line coming out of the water inlet valve to see if it has a slow leak. You may need to replace the valve.

Ice maker stopped making ice. Now water continuously drips.

Replace the water valve behind refrig , where the wall water line connects to on refrig .

Freezer problems

this particular refrig has only one temperature control which as you know is loated in the refrig section. but temperature isnt your problem. when the icemaker fill tube freezes up like yours has it is generally a sign of a bad icemaker fill valve. the valve seals will go bad and allow water seepage into the line, this seepage will freeze creating a snowball effect freezing the tube. you can use a hair dryer to remove the ice from the tube, and either replace the fill vlave yourself or have it replaced
btw the fill valve is the part that the other end of the fill tube is connected to on the back/bottom of the refrig in the compressor compartment. Good luck and message me back if you have any questions. Thanks Peyton

Water acculation in refridgerator.

I had a similar problem with my old hotpoint frig (top freezer, bottom frig). the defrost cycle would come on and melt the ice, but since the drain plug in the back of the freezer below the coils would eventually freeze up closed due to ice accumulation. It got to the point I had to shut down the whole unit and leave it open for around 8 hours to let it naturally melt the ice in the drain tube. I hear a gurgle sound and then a sound of water flowing, so I knew it was now draining again.
