Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
No I have not updated my big PS3 before the April 1st update because I did not want to lose my Linux support and it has been working fine. Just played FF13 last night.
So as long as you do not have a hardware problem all you need to is reset the video and sound settings on the system.
To do this hold down the power button while the system is off until it beeps at you twice then release. This should reset the audio and video. Note the video in the link below covers this if you need to see it.
