Question about Microsoft Internet Explorer 8
I believe I've tried everything imaginable in trying to 'repair' my.msn homepage. Perhaps you can offer assistance. I my.msn as my homepage. At one time I could add content on the page and modify the Favorite box with quick links. When you would place the cursor next to the added links, the modification 'buttons' would appear. That is no longer the case. I've deleted cookies, temp files, adjusted settings in ie..etc. Nothing works. One thing though, I had to replace my verizon dsl modem last week. After the setting were adjusted for the new modem, my.msn page worked like new. This only lasted for two days, then it was back to the old way - cannot modify the page. I am running winxp home, sp3. I keep my system updated on a regular basis and have kaspersky internet security. I also use various malware software destroyer software. Have any suggestions? Any would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Make sure that you are logged into msn. Since you cleared your cookies and temp files, it may have "forgotten" your login information. Also, check that your browser isn't set to clear history and cookies after you close it.
