I have also seen the one on ebay. the only difference is 2.5W and the one you and I are looking for is 3.5W. What is the difference? Its not the RPM. Any ideal?

Mostly all of the parts for almost all countertop ice makers are available on the Magic Chef website. Seems like all these machines are exactly the same, just made under MANY different brand names.

Hello,

I would suggest you check the ebay site for the part of your device, the site sale almost all the parts of equipment and devices.

Type www.ebay .com on your web browser to search and order for your device part.

You might be fortunate to get it there, once ordered, it will be delivered within a short period.

Take care.

Hi, since you have searched the internet for it and you have not received any response on it, i will simply advise you to try and get a replacement part that can also perform the same function since the particular part marketed by Maxi.matic cannot be found.
Take care

I have a Dyson dc08 it won't turn on. No smell just won't turn on. Can someone help me? I need to know how to test for... If it's the switch ? If it is the motor ? Motor brush? Cord to machine? Please...

Start by testing the cord and switch to be sure you are getting proper electrical voltage. If so check at the motor. If you are getting proper voltage to the motor and it won't run you may need a new motor.
If you are not experienced in doing the testing required to determine the source and cause of problem or problems it may be less expensive and a lot safer to hire a professional. Not all vacuum repair shops can repair Dyson vacuums. I highly recommend a repair shop that is a Riccar Warranty center as they have the proper training to do the repair correctly.

Need to replace vaccum motor

Before you can get a schematic for any vacuum, you're going to need the model number and make. Neither of which you have listed here.

Miele Solution 5281 motor problem - can it be fixed?

You cant repair the motor but it is not too hard to replace the motor. I have made a video showing how to replace the motor on a miele S5311 which is a very similar machine. The part number for the Miele S5281 motor is 9271290

Sebo felix belt is broken, taken screws from bottom of vacum but will not come apart

There are actually two belts on your Sebo, one that drives the brush, and the second that attaches to the pulley on one end, and the motor shaft on the other. I'm assuming that the belt you need to replace is probably the brush belt, or the belt that attaches to the brush gear on side, and the pulley on the other.

Here's what you'll need to do:

Step 1. Remove the vacuum bag housing so that you are only working with the power nozzle or the bottom portion of your Sebo, this will make it much easier to work with. Turn the vacuum upside down, and remove only the 5 screws that I have circled in red:

Step 2. After removing the screws on the bottom of the vacuum cleaner, separate the top housing from the lower agitator housing, sometimes it may take putting a flat head screw driver in between the white and grey colored housing and prying them apart.

Step 3. You now have full access to the belts on your machine. It's most likely the belt that wraps around the brush gear rather then the belt that's attached to the motor that's gone bad. I have never replaced the motor belt in 8 years of servicing Sebo vacuums. The easiest way to replace this belt is to loosen the pulley system that the belt wrap around. Unscrew the two screws that hold this pulley in place, and remove the brush drive belt from the pulley, and now you can unwrap it from the brush gear as well now with the extra slack in it. Now, if you've been using your Sebo in your home rather then using it commercially in a business, Sebo actually offers a lifetime belt warranty on their vacuum cleaners. The belt is supposed to last as long as the vacuum, and Sebo will actually cover this repair, both parts and labor as long as the machine is being used in a residential home environment..

I have a 20yr old electrolux central vac that the motor just went bad. in wondering whether to replace motor or replace whole unit i have found an electrolux unit and a aerus unit. someone told me elect....

Motor to replace or rebuild:

Depending if your motor just started to get noisy, you can take it to a private vacuum repair shop and most rebuild for around $80 to $100.00. Usually they replace top/bottom bearing and the armature carbon brushes.

If it's loud and vibrating and probably sparking. Do not bother to rebuild, the armature is now probably damaged and not worth the new parts.

Replacing the motor is pretty basic and usually saves you about $150.00. They're pretty simple to release out of the unit and are pretty simple to remove and reinstall.

To find out your replacement motor number you will need to find the stamped model number on the motor itselt. It is a 6-8 digit number. That is the Ametek Motor Model number. Ametek is used in pretty well all central vacuum systems. Motors range from $99 to $239.00

Repalcement of belt on Hoover F7425-900 Steam Cleaner

To help out here the hood has 6 screws on the underside of the machine and 2 post snaps at the rear of the hood. They pop out when lifting the rear of the hood. The air motor is as described above, 2 on bottom and 2 on top. When removed the air motor again has 2 screws on the cover of the gear set and a couple clips which come loose readily when the screws are removed. This exposes the gear set. Remove the gears and free the air motor shaft. Clean, lubricate and reassemble. You should be good to go. The Air motor is the only weak link in the machine. The bearings seize due to exposure as moist air is pulled through the air motor to drive the gear set. Great idea! Hoover should have used a stainless drive gear and bearings or a plastic bearing that would hold up to the RPM of the motor. Regardless, as is it will be plagued with the problem for the life of the machine unless you upgrade. Hoover may have solved this for all I know. Hint: The motor will not create any torque until the suction tank is in place. Oh, and keep the screen clean. That is the motor intake.

Where can I get motor brushes for an Epic 6500 SR

You can get these brushes at and AERUS ELECTROLUX repair center. However be aware this is a hi rpm motor.
Unlike lower output, heavy duty motrs from 40 years ago, BRUSHES CAN SELDOM BE REPLACED ON THEIR OWN. IF YOU CAN ACTUALLY GET ALL THE WAY IN AND OUT OF THIS VAC , THEN YOU ARE CAPABLE OF THE MOTOR WORK AS WELL.
Once the motor is removed from its housing be sure to inspect the commutator surface for gapping between the segments, the lines must be parallel nor should the com show apple core shaped wear. Either one will negate new brushes.
New brushes are best seated with a fine abrasive commutator stone and run in at half speed & half voltage to allow them to gradually seat, especially on a hi RPM motor.
Post back if you need help. Good effort !!!!

High rpm

These machines are noisy to begin with, but will become worse if anything is allowed to enter the fan area of the motor. I have seen debris clog the front fan and put the motor out of balance so it will really scream when it runs. This work is best left to a competent professional

Looking for Replacement Motor for Bosch Ultra 1450W Canister Vacuum

If you are finding BB's. then the bearings are bad. You could pull the motor and take it to a place that rebuilds motors to see about replacing the bearings. If it is a Lamb or amtec motor, there is a number stamped on it, you can match up another motor with that number. Go to a place that sells Vacuum repair parts and they maybe able to get you a new motor.
