Is there a way to delete contact list from Palm pixi - then resync with Google? I added a Yahoo email account to my cell, and it dropped all my Yahoo contacts into my cell contact list. I deleted the Yahoo email from my cell, but it still shows those contacts and won't let me delete them.

First from your desktop go to the icon that says "setup blackberry internet email". Find your yahoo account and you'll be given two options, to edit, or delete. select delete. This will delete the account off your phone but you will still see an icon on your desktop. To delete that as well, go to your options icon from your desktop, advanced options, then service books. You will see you email account in this list twice, go to each one, leave it highlighted, hit your menu button and select delete

Adding someone over email can be a problem if the email is filtered as SPAM or possibly not in a redirected folder.

Adding over PIN is generally much simpler, and less chance of a mistake.
However, don't add them over PIN from your address book unless you know that you have the correct PIN in your address book.

Try deleting eachother on both sides.
Then, with the device side by side, one person adds the other via PIN.

You can get the PIN number from Options (or Settings > Options, depending on your theme) > Status.

Add over PIN, and manually type the other PIN number. Do not add on both sides. One person adds the other.

Then when the second person get the add request, they open it, then accept it.
Then you will both have eachother in your Pending lists. Then the devices will communicate and you both go to the list of Contacts for eachother.

I have the same problem. I called Sprint and they said the only way to get rid of the recent text message contacts is to completely erase the incoming calls you have. Don't know if that includes locked ones, too, but I'm trying it now (I have one locked message). Will let you know.

You can add a contact that synchronizes one of your online accounts, such as Google or Exchange. You can also add a

contact in the Palm Profile account, which does not synchronize with an online account but is backed up daily to your Palm Profile.

If you are using Contacts for the first time, you go through a few different steps to get or access the contacts on your phone (see Using Contacts for the first time ). Follow this procedure to add contacts directly on your phone after the first time you use Contacts.

1. Open Contacts .

2. Tap .

3. (Optional) Tap the account button to the right of Name to change the account to which the new contact will be added.

4. Tap fields to enter contact details, select a ringtone for that contact, add notes, or add birthday details for the contact. Scroll to see all of the fields available for contact info.

5. In some fields, such as New Phone Number, when you enter the information a label button appears on the right. Tap the button to change the label for your entry-for example, to identify a number as a mobile or work phone.

Tip Use the Reminder field to enter that important message or question you have for this contact. The next time you send or receive a call or a message to or from the contact on your phone, the reminder pops up on the screen. You can also add a reminder later (see Assigning a reminder message to a contact).

Tip To insert a two-second pause in the dialing sequence, enter a T where you want the pause to appear. To insert a stop in the dialing sequence, enter a P where you want the stop to appear; to dial the next set of numbers after the stop, tap the screen.

6. Tap Done.
