Hitachi ax-m71 cd door won't stay closed. Unable

if it opens back up when you close it the drawer mechanism is probably out of alignment. Most players have a slot on the bottom of the drawer that a pin must slide in. Look under the drawer and see if there is a pin sticking up that maybe should be in that slot.

The cd tray will not stay closed, as soon as unit is turned on the trya comes out the buttons close it but it does not stay closed

most likely your CD player doesn't support the formatting of the CD you are trying to use.

you didn't mention if this happens to ALL the CDs you try to play or only for specific ones.
if you don't use a copied CD do you still have an issue?

My device cant open the disc tray please advise me on what to do

Electronics Corporation sells inexpensive DVD players. The DVD players, however, often exhibit problems due to their manufacture and way that they work, which must be dealt with during the course of the player's life. Knowing what these problems are beforehand can aid in resolving difficulties when using the DVD player. In some cases, it can help eliminate the problem before it can become catastrophic

The disc door is not properly closed if the Disc player display shows an "Open" error message. Check that there are no gaps in the door and use the remote to open the disc door. If it will not open, unplug the Disc player and gently pull out the disc door and then push it in. Plug the Disc player back into the AC socket.

If the DVD has not been inserted properly into the disc tray, a "No Disc" error message will come up on the display. Eject the disc and lightly flick off dust using the edge of a lintless cloth. Inspect the disc for damage. Insert it carefully again into the disc tray and use the remote to close the disc door.

Because the Disk player is inexpensive, the power supply is not of the highest quality. Having a surge protector to plug into the Disc player will help to keep the power supply from being damaged over the course of its lifetime.

Have a nice day

Proline DAB 360 digital radio/CD player. The CD door will not close. The catch is out of alignment between the door & the body of the radio/CD.

You will need somebody that is good with mechanical issues or a tv tech to do the job for you, setting the timing can be tricky and requires skills to deal with it.

Cannot play any VCD or Audio CD or DVD... message displayed is ' reading' or 'close' or 'open'

dirty lens, get a DVD lens cleaner (preferable with the cleaning fluid and little brushes on the disc, your local electronics supplier should be able to supply you

don't open the player and try and clean the lens yourself, you will end up with a lens that cant focus properly.

I have an Aiwa stereo cd player that only plays certain cd's but not the new ones, it is model cs-na222

Some Aiwa players will not play burned, non-closed or expanded limit cds (CD of 700MB or overburned to 750MB).

When you say new cds do you mean purchased pressed cds or ones you created?

CD jammed inside player

Remover the player's cover. That will give you access to the player's internals and therefore also the CDs. That is the only way to go about a problem like the one you are facing.

Disconnect the player from the mains supply before doing this.

Good luck.
