- the words are off line in green yellow and blue. The faces are purple and the background is all blotchy with different colors.- shultzesAug 16, 2008
- turned tv on. images on screen are red, sometimes purple and "out of alignment" sound is ok. looks the same w/cable and/or dvd.the top quarter of the screen has an arc w light green. looks similar to each of the lens are out of sync.- GuestAug 04, 2008

This is an issue that is currently the reason for a number of Class action Law suits against Sony for both the KDS-R50 and R60 models. The suit has provided an extended warranty for in-house repairs through June 2009. Call a number and they will schedula a replacement free of charge. I just had mine replaced for the same reason (Grren tent, yellow or orange stains.) Here is the link for information regardignthe suit:
