Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
My copier keeps jamming (the code is E3) ,it looks like the paper is crooked when jamming . There are fine bristles it appears to catching on ,not sure though , and it appears that there is less clearance on the side that the paper is jamming on (only one sides seems to be jamming) . Is there an adjustment or any fix that you may know of ? It was moved recently , not sure how carefully ,though. It did work for about 3 months after moved. It is a xerox 5021 copier.
Thanks in advance
If the paper is crooked it will come out wrinkled. If not the print is crooked indicating a different problem.
You wil have to look at the paper as it is printing, to see where it is catching, paper ramp maybe ( before the fuser entrance), exit rollers? ( only place I know there are bristles)
E3 is : paper jam in fuser
also check fingers or claws on fuser they catch the paper if worn.
