Here's an article on How to Remove and/or Avoid a Paper Jam in your Lexmark X5300 & X5400 & X5600 Series All-In-One. Just click on this link: http://bit.ly/dg5flX. These are some guidelines that may help you avoid or correct the problem. But if the problem persists, the problem may be hardware now. If this is the case I suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. Thanks.

Print tow side on Canon LBP 800 Laser Printer

Hi
I have found both a Getting Started Guide here:
http://dl.owneriq.net/6/6b8eae44-71d6-4f7d-a01c-369b4426c2f6.pdf
and a User Manual (more comprehensive) here:
http://www.printerrecharge.com.au/manuals/Canon%20LBP-800%20User%20Manual.pdf
I've also looked through them and there is no mention of duplex printing capability, nor does the paper path shown in the manual show it as possible. The only way to double-sided printing is therefore manually. To do this
Print the odd numbered pages of the document (in properties box).
Remove the paper from the outlet and turn it over .
Replace it in the paper feed tray with the blank side facing you.
Print the even numbered pages of the document.
Please be careful to make sure that page 2 prints on the other side of page 1 and so on through the document, as it is very easy to put the one side printed pages in the feed tray with the last page, in the position to be printed first causing a complete waste of paper. Also leave the one side printed paper for a few minutes before refeeding as doing this too quickly can result in a paper jam.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

It is not taking pages properly. One side is entering early. Please suggest what to do.

On the side that is late going in, expect to see debris in dront of it. Use a flash light and look inthe feed area, also while in there take a clean damp cloth and wipe the feed rollers clean. pay special attention to the side that is late entering the printer.

The printer only prints half a page then moves to next page and a

Before printing, the printer checks the paper size. If the paper edge guide is positioned incorrectly, the paper may be fed at an angle. If this happens, the bottom of the paper is therefore at an angle and not perpendicular with the paper feed rollers. This can result in the paper sensor not recognising the real page width as it can only detect a certain amount of the bottom of the paper sheet which is nearest to it.

If only part of the width of the paper is detected, the printer considers that the paper width is less than it actually is. To avoid printing on internal parts of the printer such as paper feed rollers, the printer automatically cuts the image to fit the detected paper width As this phenomenon depends on the paper feeding condition, it can be random.
Reload the paper and make sure it is loaded correctly. All the way to the right and the paper guide correctly adjusted.

When feeding my paper it keeps pulling the paper

You need to replace the feed rollers. One side is probably worn. You should be able to buy a rebuild kit for it. Try ebay.

Can't work out how to use the multiscan? I press scan and it comes up with multiscan and I put the first piece of paper in but don't seem to get asked for any more sheets and it therefore just scans one...

Anita,

Put the pages in the "multiscan" all at once, not just one sheet at a time. The Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) will feed one sheet of your document at a time untill all of the pages are scanned...
Thanks for using FixYa!

How do you load an envelope in the printer?

Hi, Please follow these steps to load :-
1.Turn on your printer. Make sure it is in ready mode (green status light on) and it is not printing or running any other operations.
  1. 2.Determine whether your printer uses a top-feed or bottom-feed. Blank paper stands upright in a top-feeding printer and lays in a tray on a bottom-feeding printer.
3.Load your envelope in portrait mode for envelopes that are 8.5 inches wide (standard paper size). Fold the flap down and place the envelope with the side to be printed on facing you. Load the envelope so that the side with the flap enters the printer first.
4.Load your envelope in landscape mode for longer envelopes that cannot fit in lengthwise. Close the flap. Load the envelope so that the left side enters the printer first (the flap will be on your left).
5.Set the paper guides. This guide is the sliding piece on your feed tray (it will usually be on the left). Slide it over so that the paper is held straight when it enters the printer.
6.Set up your printing preferences. Go to "File > Page Setup" or access your printer’s properties page. Under orientation, select portrait or landscape mode depending on how you loaded your envelopes. If your printer has this option, select “Left” for bottom-feeding printers and "Right” for top-feeding printers
7.Take a look at the "Print Preview" (usually found under "File" menu) and make sure everything looks good. Then print.
  2. Thanks!

The papaer is not feeding well on both sides therefore it sticks during printing. The right side of the paper feeds quickly and stiks. I have a dell all in one A940 Thanks Undine Wooding

looking at the pictures i would say the paper feeds in from the top turn the printer upside down and shake it there could be something fallen in there and is cause the paper not to feed on the one side.
