The pressure release may be faulty, or simply just to much pressure.
Try turning the red nob at the end of the pressure release, that will bring the pressure down.
Other you probably need a new pressure release valve.
Hope that helps.

Sounds like youve topped the pressure up too much, the boiler needs to be on 1 bar pressure from a cold state, thats the max really you want to increase it too, in operation the boiler pressure increases due to heat expansion but sounds like you may have more of a problem, if your renting the property then its the landlords duty to ensure your boiler works and its safe- consult the landlord asap and they sohould help you out

I have Britony combi SE.It keeps cutting out error 70 and 80 . Ichance the pcb three months ago if that helps

tour gas valve or solinoid is faulty, check you have 240dc across the solinoid,if you have then its the gas valve,if not its your solinoid, but check you have spark at the ignition electrode first,if not check the continuity of the harness, the harness are the two yellow or orange wires from spark generator on pcb to ignition.
getting confused, mail me i will go through it for you

Need to repressurise my worcester 28si combi boiler

most worcesters have n internal filling loop, depending on which one you have i.e CDi (left hand side, or Greenstar/ junior (high efficiency) right hand side, there ill be a void, the filling loops are black plastic with either a small grey or white knob, position your filling key pointing up, with the little noggins poiting at 3 and 9 o'clock, so it looks like your putting the key in on the wont almost. Push it up, and twist. (older worcester turn it 45 degress), newer worcester turn to the right slightly, you'll know if its in right because you cant turn it any further on the newer ones. turn the small knob anti-clockwise to let water in, unitl the reuired pressure is reached. Normally 1- 1.5bar is adequate. If you key isnt in right water will come out where the key is. So if it does it means the key isnt in right, dont panic, turn the knob off and try again. Once done, twist key back to its original position and pull out, youll probably gets a few drip out, this is normal.

Unforuntely not the most user friendly of devices if you dont know what your doing.

Good luck

COMBI BOILER PRESSURE PROBLEM

It sounds like the expansion tank is unable to cope with the expansion of the water in the system. It may have failed or there may be a blockage so water is unable to get to it.

Boiler loosing pressur

generally preesure problems are caused by the following- obviously a leak, bleeding of rads without topping up the pressure, pressure relief valve passing( probably an integral part to the boiler), or potentially a problem with the expansion vesell.
the expansion vessel is a tank which
holds water and air- it should be pressurised with air by about 10 psi or up to 1bar, if the diaphragm has split this ill cause pressure problems all day long

hope this info helps

Ariston combi boiler

sounds like your diverter valve is passing on the boiler, this diverts the heat either to the rads or to the taps, if its passing through the heating chanel it'll heat up the rads- may also be a scaled up secondary heat exchanger, hope this helps you
