FIND the scanwedge application in the system directories

Try a soft reset by pressing the reset button on the back of the unit, this will often re-enable the scanner.
Also go to Start>Settings> Symbol Settings to test the scanner operation.

What version of software did you have.
This problem exist on ver. 19.
You will resolve this with an upgrade to platform 21.
