If your pictures are blurry, you have a shutter speed that is too slow. If they are yellow, your white balance isn't set to auto. Try using the camera in more light or setting it to full auto. There is most likely nothing wrong with your camera.

I wish I could say that was it, but I've checked and RE-checked.....the shutter speed is on auto.
Question: Could you clarify for me on how to use the camera "in more light?" I mean, the shot is what it is whenever the shot is being taken, so I'm sure I'm not understanding your meaning correctly. Thanks for your time.

I'm just thinking that if the pictures are coming out blurry and the shutter speed is on auto, you may not have enough available light for a fast shutter speed. This can cause any slight motion in your hands to be transferred to the image. This may not be the case, but that is what it sounds like to me.

I have a canon 40d digital camera that I am having a hard time taking pictures indoors - they come out bluury and with a yellow tinge - I work mostly in M so I control the light with 1600 ISO - ANy ideas...

Yes you need to change the white balance (WB). If the pix are yellow it is because the white balance is set to daylight and you are shooting under tungsten(orange) and/or fluorescent (bluey green).
Try the WB in auto but sometimes auto doesn't work perfectly, or if shooting under tungsten only change to tungsten etc
If you want to be sure to get the correct balance shoot a white card slightly underexposed and correct it afterwards in whatever photo software you use.
The blurry is caused by too low a shutter speed but if already at 1600 iso you cant go much higher without running into noise problems so use a flash gun on auto.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.

I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply and remember, even if you don't vote for me a please and thank you goes a long way

Pictures taken recently have a pink tinge, eg the sky is pink and skin tones are wrong.

your settings are wrong on the brightness and contrast

some of the power shots set up by using KELVINS as the method of balancing the warmth or coolness of a picture. Others have a setting for OUTSIDE Inside Halogen and fluro If its set on halogen and you are taking pics outside it will have a red tinge.

Fluro a blue tinge...

check the manual for the right selections

Red tinged and blurry pictures from hp 6380 printer

Try a head clean. This is usually accessed from the printer menu on the printer, or the properties in Windows. If this doesn't work you could have faulty cartridges. This can be common with refurbished/refilled cartridges.

Colour spots

turn your color all the way down and observe the black and white, contrast and grays . should be crisp. if sorted looks still like blurry grays with little contrast...... your problem lies in the video processing circuit.

RCA F3250 TV has clouded up.

If you are still getting sound but no picture then its a fair bet than when the tv was moved it was bumped about causing dry solder joints somewhere on the tv probably the line output stage. If you can re-solder the joints yourself try this first otherwise find a competant technician. Hope this helps.

Sony DSC-H7 - Pictures have yellow tint

Take the Camera back and get a Cannon......

I bought the WSC-80 for my parents and had the same problem. You will get Sony reps on this forum (and other support forums) telling you to "set the white balance" and "it happens with all camera's because of the white balance."

They are trying to get people who haven't bought their P.O.S. camera to think the end user is the problem....you are not the problem.

I have sent my camera in twice now, once because it was blurry (they reset the lense....everything was fine) and now I am getting the yellow tinge on my pics.

I can take three pictures in a row (within seconds) the light is the same, settings are the same, people are the same, etc and two will be yellow and the other will be perfect.

Research all the Sony Models, they suffer from the same problem.....I will NEVER buy Sony again, I bought the "top of the line" for my parents for x-mas and sony made me look like a fool.

Shame on you Sony....
