Question about Dryers

1 Answer

Zanussi Condensor tumble dryer does not appear to be filling water container as quickly as it did? Tumble Dryer also appears to be on longer to get clothes dry. Have checked vents and condensor and all "appears" to be OK. Any help/advice gratefully received. Thanks Dave

you should be able to take off the inspection panel, inside should be your maintenance manual. This will help you troubleshoot your issue. and show you where everything goes. If thats no help then you are going to have to get a service manual, or professional help. Zanussi tumble dryer does not get very hot

Hi, I take it from the description taht you have given your T/dryer is a condenser? If this is the case you could be looking at several problems? 1 it could be the large filter underneath the tumble dryer this could be blocked with fluff causing it not to condense quick enough! 2 it could be the water collection pump? Can you her it running? 3 It could be that half the heater has failed causing it not to get hot enough to dry?
Try these hopefully it should steer you in the right direction!

Sounds like the condense pump is bad. Replace it, or look if there is lint in it. ;)
