K800i white screen at startup

phone wont start up past white screen, i dont want to flash phone because some numbers are stored on phone memory not sim. is there any way to keep info ?

-   ive had the same problem for the past few days, and i think i if do a software update it will work again but the problem is i dont want to lose all my contacts that are stored on the phone-   macnsnyeric

-   Get a hammer and smash the mobile!
That's my second k800i, the first one had some botton problems, and than screen was gone, and my second I turn the mobile off, because I was running without battery and now doesn't want to work anymore, only white and black screen ..... that's sucks...-   Guest

try removing the memory card and then boot the piece.

the sony ericsson symbol comes on and then the screen goes white and flashes on and off.
