Question about Cisco 7940 IP Phone

OK I am gonna throw an idea at you. Give more details...
I would guess that depending on your configuration your phones are unable to load whatever ring type you called for at the current location. example: I pre load the phone at site "a" with ringtype 1, but ring type 1 file does not exist on current branch server.. just some thoughts... let me know if this can help.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
