60 02 error

Hi

I had the same problem on a customers 4250 and here is my solution.
It appears that the spring which holds the lifter motor upright was designed
without enough tension on it.
If the spring is removed and the motor assembly is allowed to fall to the
right when the paper tray is inserted the motor never engages the tray
and a 60.02 error appears. However if the motor assembly is held upright
while the tray is inserted the error message never appears as the motor
always engages.
I have found that a spring from a laserjet 4v toner cartridge is the same length
and shape but utilizes a heavier gauge steel.
When I used this spring in place of the OEM spring the 60.02 error message never appeared again.

Have a problem paper tray will not go back in printer on 1320

Flip the tray over, there is a little pawl there that locks it down to insert it (In the center, near the front), it is held in place by a spring and often that spring pops out.

YTS 3000 clutch return spring noise, sounds like it is rubbing on something when you release the clutch but I can't even find the spring

The spring will be attached to the tensioner pully right on top, there is a threaded bolt with nut holding the spring on, I just had to order the clutch cable because the spring broke, from rubbing on metal when engaging and disengaging the clutch lever.

How do I change tray settings from tray 1 to tray 2?

Hi,

Browse through the menu's of the printer
Paper Handling Menu, Set
Tray 1: Any size / Any Type.
Tray 2: A4 Size / Plain Type.

This should solve the issue

Its tray spring to be check, whether they are inclined or not. Sometime it does not lift the tray up to catch paper by printer. I often get the problem and can be solved easily.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Error 13.20.00

There is a paper feed sensor located behind Tray 1 where the tension spring gets knocked loose, therefore the sensor arm is still blocking the sensor. You have to remove all covers and the Tray 1 Assembly and re-install the spring which goes into a slot on the plastic frame.
