You need to restart the machine and change your load size switch then let it fill further and restart the cycle,or you can manually add water to the unit with a separate water bucket or hose

The water level will not adjust to the load size or changes of the water setting

You did not post the make and model, but on most of those machines there is a thin tube that fills with water and puts pressure on a sensor. This tube can become clogged and then the water level cannot be sensed.

Is there a way I can change the settings of Whirlpool Washer Model # CAE2743BQ, because this Machine has a very low level of water. Kindly teach us how to make the water plenty in the washer..

If you do not have owner's manual, try manualslib.com Double check the method for setting water level (load size). There may be an "energy conservation or water conservation" mode.
I would also take the purchase receipt to Home Depot and ask for help. If it is all machines, there may be a factory defect. Hopefully, you are within the factory warranty time.

WHY IS WATER LEVEL LOW CAN I CHANGE THE SETTING ON WATER

there should be a knob on the control panel showing small, medium, large maybe even super. that is how you change the water level. Its for different amounts of clothing your washing at a time. If you put in a few clothes then you have the option of using less water.

How do you know if the water level sensor is working

Try setting the level to low...with the lid open, you can watch the water fill. Once the water gets to the proper level, it should change to the agitate mode. If you now switch the level to a higher level, it should stop agitating and start filling again. Note: some machines require you to turn the level control knob to the HIGH setting before it will change to a new level.

My Maytag performa series LAT2500AAE fills to the medium level no matter which setting I use. It does NOT overflow.

If your infinite water level switch has a reset, perform this before changing the water level setting prior to your next load, this is usually done by rotating the knob to the reset zone, then back to your desired water level setting. If your problem still exists, you will most likely need the water level switch replaced Part# 22001776. Pleazer Appliance...

My washing machines cold water does not shut off it stays in when i shut the machine off.

the problem is in the solenoid valve that the inlet hose connects to in the machine. There is a small diaphragm controlled by a electric solenoid and when the water level control has reached the level setting this solenoid is deactivated and the water is cut off. Normally the button will stay in unless you change it to hot water in which case the button will come out.

Your machine has a fault with the water level contoller switch - pressure switch that activates when water reaches the level set . So check the water level controller and test. If not the fault can be with the program controller unit.
