Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
C548 is not "incorrect fuser installation error", but " Fusing unit rotation error". This is caused by the fusing belt sensor not detecting any change in the actuator after the fusing/paper exit motor has turned on.
The sensor is the position sensor for the fusing belt, located on the left side of the machine (where you have controls).
The reset is done pressing the yellow reset key. If that does not clear the error try disconnecting power, restart, and reset again. If still no luck, the error is caused by toner on sensor, or by a faulty sensor.
Clean toner from belt and fuser assembly, if that does not work, replace the fusing belt sensor or actuator. If still no luck, replace whole fuser assembly. The job should be done by a technician.
