Generic problem for all Vacuums
Hoover vacuum turned off and
Hoover vacuum turned off and won’t go back on
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure
Not knowing the model number – or if it is a canister or upright --- you may have a defective switch and would need to replace it – check with you local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages or call the Hoover Co for further assistance
