Hey junior

your cam needs a lttle racking cuz the senso is wacked. try to turn it on and suddenly take out the battery. if the problem is still there, youll have to bring that to a specialist.

JVC Mini DV Camcorder GR-D31EK When plugging in the power supply, nothing happens. Power lead is working. Will not charge battery. Cannot eject tape cassette.

This is usually caused by a failed component in the power circuit within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

I cant get video from my jvcGR-D31EK to my tv using AV cables. Can you help me please?

check to make sure that you are using the correct cable. Unless you have connections for separate left and right audio, the cable that you should be using will likely be a 1/8" plug that has *4* sections on it, a stereo patch cable will have *3*, and may also be shorting one of the contacts.

Unit in safeguard mode

I found the solution on another web site. You just eject the tape, and then give the camera a few sound whacks near the microphone (I tapped mine of a carpetted floor). Believe it or not this seems to work! My camera had been in "safe mode" for over a year without any success in fixing it. I tried the above method having lost all hope of ever using it again, and presto, the think came back to life! Can't say how long it will last, but at least it's out of safe mode;-)

JVC Camcorder "operation paused Condensation"

If the camera becomes damp or cold and brought into a warm atmosphere damp forms in the mechanism which would cause the tape to stick and become damaged or fouled.

leave the camera to warm up for a few hours and the fault should clear.

If not the most common reason is the dew sensor has failed and needs replacing
