Re: FINDING PUK CODE
Pin Unlock Code (PUK) If you miss key (or forget) your SIM pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the SIM will lock up, and you’ll need to enter the PUK unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don’t try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
The next solution is a repair shop. The phone will have to be connected directly to a PC, using a software device 'Box'

A PUK (PIN Unlock Key) code is required to unlock
SIM cards that have become locked following three successive incorrect
PIN entries. If your SIM card becomes locked, you will need to get a PUK
code from AT&T to unlock your SIM card.
You can obtain your phone's PUK code from AT&T in one of these ways:
if you go onto the orange website and register your number and details, the site will give you the puk number for that number once you have registered. Now to register they may say they will send a 4 digit security code to your phone via text, as it is locked you may need to call orange pref on another orange phone as this will be cheaper than a landline , they will give you the puk code over the phone,
i hope this helpsif you dont get any joy from that I will see if I can get it for you
well, my old phone was the Samsung Soul U900, and axidentally put a Puk lock on that, and my dad rung up Orange, and asked for the Puk Code, and they gave us it and you just type into your phone the number you were given and it should unlock, obviously, you wouldn't ring orange unless orange is your network, so just ring the network that you have. Hope I helped :) xx
Hi the good news is your phone isnt locked the PUK code is the security code for the sim card you have in the phone, now if you want to continue using that sim card then all you need to do is call your service provider or you can sometimes get the PUK code from their web site. they wont charge for giving you this code all they will ask you is whats the phone number for the sim card or they will ask you for the code written on the sim card, then they will give you the code over the phone so you can use that sim card.
The other option you have is if you dont need to use that sim card then you can just get another sim card and put this in your phone then this wont ask for the code plus when you get a new sim card you get given the PUK code just in case you ever need it.
chances are you want to use the sim card you have in the phone so the first thing to do is have a look on their web site and go to the help or support section and look for the PUK code section you will need to enter the sims phone number then you should get the code. if you cant find this on their site then just give your service provider a call and they will give you the code over the phone for free, or go in to your nearest orange shop and ask them for your PUK code and they will also give you the code for free as the code is for your sim card so it belongs to you.
once you enter this code you wont be asked for it again unless you have problems with security codes in the future, the PUK code is just a safety feature to stop anybody getting your data such as phone numbers off the sim if your phone is ever stolen, so give them a call and they will sort you out in a matter of minutes.
let me know if you need further assistance ok
plz rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
hi, if you have had the phone and sim card from new then the PUK code is usually written on the card that the sim card was attatched to so if you still have this then look on their for the PUK code if you dont have this then dont worry just read on.
The PUK code is the security code for the sim card and if you get it wrong more than 5 times then this would block the sim card and it cant be unlocked. To get your PUK code for that sim card all you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them for your PUK code they will give you this for free over the phone all you need to do is give them the sim cards phone number and also your details they will then give you the correct PUK code for that sim card.
Every single sim card maid has its own unique PUK code so the code they give you will only work with that sim card you gave the phone number for.
You could also try going to your service provides web site as you can usually get the PUK code off their web site.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
You need to contact your network provider who should be able to give you the PUK code. So say its Orange or whoever-phone them on your landline and give them your details and mobile no and they will give you instructions and PUK code to unlock it.
