The protect message indicates that a problem was detecteed in the final stage of the amplifier and the unit has shutdown to prevent further damage. Disconnect the speakers and try again. If hte message remains, the problem is internal to the unit and will require repair. Typically this involves the replacing of the final stage be it an IC or discrete transistors.

Hope this helps,
Dan

I'mnot sure what you thought we could do here, but your unit likely has a physical problem that a reset won't fix. If you can post the results of the simple test I suggested, I may be able to get you more detailed repair information.

    Thanks,

    Dan

You can try to hold the stop button down for 5 seconds while the power is off to reset. If that doesn't work disconnect all the cables from the back expect the speaker cables and the power cable. then turn the unit on and reconnect the cables once the unit is on.

Wat is write protect

It's the memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card, allowing the camera (or any other device) to write to the card.

I can't to format my 8 G flash(message:write protect) i used the Repair_v2.9.1.1.exe ,but it message that the usb flash not found. plz help me

Any time you see "write protect" it usually means there is a small switch on the device which prevents deleting data accidentally, even by writing over it.
Look for a small sliding switch and flip it to opposite position. That should fix it.

When I turn on my kodak easyshare c813 camera, I can't get past the ''Memory card is protected'' error message. Any ideas?

Yup.  Quite often on media cards there's a tiny switch to write-protect the card so important files can't be overwritten/deleted.  Simply put the switch to the other position and you'll be able to take photos again.

"Memory card is protected"

This error message indicates that the memory card is locked. The switch on the memory card is in the write-protect position. Reset the switch as shown on the camera screen.
