Question about Dryers
The flashing of the lights indicates that a fault has been detected. Press and hold the Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to reset the control. The buzzer will sound 1 time and “rES” will be shown bbriefly in the display. Rotate the cycle selector knob 2 turns counterclockwise immediately to the third position from the top, and then press and hold the Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds. The control will enter Field Test Mode, the buzzer will sound 3 times, and the digital display will alternate between “Fld” and the firmware revision number. Rotate the cycle selector knob 2 turns counterclockwise. An "E" followed by two numbers, a number and a letter, or two
letters indicates the fault code displayed in the digit display.
Indicate any fault code for the appropriate advice and action needed to address and include the exact model number of the dryer if the outlined procedure above does not apply. From my understanding your Frigidaire dryer, LEQ1442ES1, will run and then shut down after three or four minutes. I would recommend a reset on your dryer which you can do by unplugging your power cord for roughly ten minutes.
If that does not correct the issue it sounds like a potential problem with your control panel or a sensor. I would suggest having a professional come out and repair your appliance to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt
