I did finally get a working phone # for support from Maytag and thanks to her and my clever husband- did locate the HIDDEN #'s. She also recommended using the Affresh tablets to see if that helps, but could not confirm that there were any brushes catching lint or that it needed to be cleaned. MODEL # MAH3000DAWW front loader

From what you describe I feel you have a Control Board failure. If you haven’t tried this try removing the 120VAC power plug to the washer then repower back up.If that doesn’t clear the issue and you decide not to do further troubleshooting it would be time to call in a service repair company.I would call Maytag for an authorized Maytag repair service in your area. Some parts like the Control Board may still be under warranty (5yr).Warranty info is in the SM link I’ve attached. The number to call is 800-688-9900.Maytag will need your model number and serial number, that info is located on the back right top side of the console. The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference. Good luck and post back if you have questions. If you can get into Service Mode you might be able to turn on the drain pump in and pump out the tub.Let me know if you have other questions. Try disconnecting the 120VAC power cord for a few minutes then re-power back up if you haven?t already tried that. If you still have the same issue then you may have a failed Control Board. If it?s the FAV6800AW is there an error code in the LED display? If the machine will not d let you into Service Mode then my next step would be to replace the Control Board a 10 minute job. The age is determined by the SERIAL NUMBER. Please post back with your complete serial number, particularly the last two letter designations. With that info I can tell you month and year the washer was manufactured.
