Question about Lowrance Ifinder Go2 Handheld Gps
Check if there is corosion on the battery contacts. If it was not used for some time this is the most likely cause. Chemicals leak from batteries and coat the contacts. There are spray contact cleaners available but they are not great for battery contacts. Scraping with a flat screw driver, or fine sand paper if possible, is a better solution. However the corosion is very hard to remove completely and the contacts may have to be cleaned regularly. Batteries should always be removed when an electrical item is not going to be used for a more than a month.
