Question about Canon PowerShot A630 Digital Camera
This is going to be an internal problem. It sounds like you might have two problems going on. The zoom switch might be broken, and jammed in the on position. As for previewing your pictures, this could be a slightly loose ribbon connector from the LCD screen to the main board. The camera will have to be disassembled to address these problems. You can try to see what you can see by taking it apart, but if you decide to have it serviced, get an estimate first. The cost of repair can justify buying a new camera on sale, often.
