Question about IBM ThinkPad A31 Notebook
It could be done but is not an economical task. The cost of spare parts to make the change would probably exceed the value of the machine.
Go to http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-39796 and read the IBM Hardware Maintenace Manual.
If you really want a 15" display, buy a used T31 (eBay?) configured the way you want it and then sell yours.
