An E2 code is often an indicator of an electrical problem inside the water heater. The most common problem is with the inlet water temperature sensor. Often a reset will fix the problem. To achieve the reset unplug the unit. Open the unit being careful of fragile electrical wires. Next remove the computer board and then disconnect each plug in wire and reseat them one at a time. Reassemble the unit and plug it in. It should be in working condition, without the E2 code. Marey electric heater E2 error Marley Water Heaters

Error Codes mean different things on different machine brands. It is an error message indicating your machine is malfunctioning. Usually your owner's manual will have a list of error codes in the Troubleshooting Section that describes the problem and suggested resolution. If not, then search the internet for your machine's:
I looked in the manual for this machine, and I can't find out what "E2" means to your machine. However, there IS a list of FAQ at the back of the manual that is generally helpful. The first thing I would do, though, is turn off the machine, push the bobbin winder spindle all the way to the right to engage it, then firmly push it to the left. When you engage the bobbin winder, it activates a clutch that diverts power to the winder; that clutch might not be totally disengaged. Also, make sure your buttonhole lever is all the way up, and you have not selected the twin needle function. You might want to contact Singer through their FB account and ask what E2 means.
I also have a Toshiba AW-9790S, and encountered similar problem. The E2-3 would occur sporadically and halt the washing programme. E2-3 error occurs when the washing machine detects that the lid is not properly seated and locked during the rinse or spin cycles. I took mine apart and resolved my problem by cleaning the contacts for the switches. There are 2 contact switches at the lower right side; 1 for sensing the lid is closed and 1 for sensing that the lid lock is engaged. Both the switches were slightly oxidized which prevented current flow and the sensors from working properly.
I've a question about this, because I've a similar problem.
My airco is displaying this code E2, and I'm wondering what it means.
I don't have the manual anymore to look it up. And the Airco stopped cooling, it is blowing warm or house temperature air.
It is set to cool, but blows warm air.
Is there someone who can help me out with this?
I just want to know what this code E2 means and what to do about it.
I do know that the owners manual should show you what each and every code means? Some times the manufacture will paste a strip located on the panel of the indoor unit showing what each code means. If not, I would contact the factory on this. I know on Bryant, Mitsubishi splits, Day and night, (Bryants), Tranes, Lennox and most all others, do show in the manual and on the unit behind the panel. Try looking for them there. Sincerely, shastalaker7
