Hello,

If your monitors flickers, i would suggest you check all the connection to ensure they are intact. If ll connection are intact, and yet it still flickers, it seems that the picture board on your monitor is bad and will need to be replace.

Replace the picture board on your monitor to solve the problem on your monitor.

Take care.

How do I fix my hp 2031 monitors flicking problem

well... this monitor comes to existence if memory serves about 2010, beginning of 2011. it is tired...

check it for the warranty here, you will need model and serial number, serial number is located on the back on silver label:
http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/public/psi/mostViewedResults?sp4ts.oid=5056942&ac.admitted=1422622494153.876444892.492883150

select serial number and type it, this will provide you with warranty status, if it is still under warranty - follow instructions, if it is out of warranty - bin it, it is not worth repairing! new one 20" hp price start from about $100.00 on amazon...

of course you can choose to repair it... flickering after some time of use (warming up) suggest that capacitors are leaking, if you know bit of electronic, just replace leaking caps and you will be happy again for few years.

Hyundaip90wu screen flicker

Unfortunately, unless you are an electronics expert, getting this fixed may cost you more than getting a new monitor. If it is under warranty, contact where you bought it. One thing you could do is try this monitor on a different machine, but I think it would still flicker.

Monitor flickers about 2 minutes after turn on. the flickering starts from the left and it eventually becomes a black screen. the monitor is 8 months new.

Unless I have the model number wrong (F1903), this monitor was relased in 2004. If it is 8 months old then it should be fixed under warranty. This can be bad problem in the bcaklight inverter circuits or bad lamps due to bad soldering works, bad power supply, please look here to see hwat is involved in repairing the monitors: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums

My vx2035wm starts flickering real bad after about 2 to 4 hrs of work. it only stops if i turn the screen off for 2 to 4 hrs, then it repeats. please tell me what the problem with my moniter is

Does it happen *ONLY* when connected to *YOUR* computer (implying that the video-card in your computer is failing when warm) or does it happen when connected to *ANY* computer (implying some heat-related problem inside your LCD monitor) ?

If the monitor is still under warranty, exercise the warranty to get it fixed. If the warranty has expired, it's cheaper to buy a new monitor than it would be to repair it.

Hello,

Yous symptoms indicate a failing power supply. Since it is less that a year old you need to contact Samsung for a warranty replacement. The power supply can be repaired but if you open the case to do it then you void the warranty. If you need additional information about a repair please contact us at the email address below.

I hope this helps, if so please rate our solution.

Samsung SyncMaster 920nw suddenly went black now squeaks/flickers

The 920nw did have a 3 year warranty on the unit but they will be out of warranty now. The flickering power light is an indication of a failure in the power supply board. When the board fails it can't start up correctly and the power shuts down over and over so you get the blinking light and no display. This is a very common failure point on all LCD monitors after a few years of use. There are parts called capacitors on the power supply board and they filter the output power. When they fail the power is not properly regulated and the power supply shuts down and tried to restart so you get the flashing. Here is a link to a repair guide that will show you how to dis-assemble the unit and then what to look for and replace to get it back up and running again.

Flicker, even when no signal cable

Hello,

You have a monitor with a common problem. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of the monitor. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix he problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htmYou can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictues and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and -connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. If you don't want to try the repair yourself we offer a repair service for $35 plus shipping. I hope this helps, if so please rate my solution.
