Question about Sony Handycam DCR-TRV480 Digital Camcorder
My Gateway (Vista) computer doesn't recognize my Sony DCR-HC52. My Gateway doesn't have a firewire port, so I bought a Dynex firewire 800 Express Card Adapter. Using the adapter and firewire, my Canon camcorder works fine, but the Sony doesn't. Unfortunately, my Canon is broke so I can't use it to load my film. Sony claims the needed drivers are already included with Vista. MicroSoft says it's a Sony issue. Is it Vista, is it Gateway, is it Sony?
I have tried with camera running in play mode, off, record mode. Still nothing. I don't know what else to do.
