If you are useing it with the pc i recommend you reinstall your drivers and software if that doesnt solve the problem

restore the printers settings to factory defaults if the problem persist contact your dealer or a local service center for possible repairs.

this is usually due to a mismatch between the application and the printer software, so can you provide more details on your computer system, and software, please?

HP 8150 error code of 57.5 comes up, I cycle power, I have checked all the cables and still comes up with error code. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi

Error code 57.5 in HP 8150 means that printer fan error has occurred with the power supply fan. This issue can also be due to laser/scanner fan. Make sure both the fans are working perfectly fine. If the fans are fine, then the error is due to DC controller board.

To resolve this error turn off the printer for 4-6 hours (atleast 4 hours), this will reset the error. However, even after 4 hours you still can see the error then please check and replace the fan1 (power supply fan). Also, check for any burnt components on the dc controller board.

How do I set the hpphotosmart 735 to display the date on photos?

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

If the printer cannot print or move any paper, follow these steps to display the Event Log. Otherwise, print the Event Log.

1. Press Menu until INFORMATION MENU appears.
2. Press Item until SHOW EVENT LOG appears. Press Select to show the Event Log.
3. Press - Value + to scroll through the Event Log.
4. Write down the error messages.

If you see a 52.X error then this indicates the following:

0 Laser/Scanner Error
1 Laser/Scanner Startup Error
2 laser/Scanner Rotation Error

ACTION:

1. Press GO. The page containing the error will automatically be reprinted.
2. Turn the printer off, and then turn the printer on.

4. Replace the Laser/Scanner Assembly

Hp photosmart 8150 printer.

Could be a few things. First thing to ask is if this happens with multiple cards or with just one card?

Also, what format are the pictures on the card, jpg? gif? tif? bmp? Are there other files on the card that might conflict with the printer?

Is the card formatted as FAT16 or FAT32? How big is the card? Is it an SD card, CF card, etc...?
