SOURCE: oil leak

ok ill try not to tell you rear main seal. but i can;t it sounds to me like they may have over filled it and as a result that will blow seals. i mean it is very easy to fix. and yet very expensive. also check the place where they put the oil into and check the oil pan gasket. use some break cleaner on it and clean it then add oil run it and check it

SOURCE: My model 603 filter pump leaks at the top under cap

It could be the o-ring on this model. There is a seal on these pool filters that looks like a rubber ring inside the lid. You might need to replace this ring if your pump is leaking here.

My Waterco T500 is leaking

It sounds like there may be a problem with your Waterco T500 pool pump. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to determine the cause of the leak:
  1. Check the pump seal: The pump seal is located between the motor and the pump housing and can sometimes wear out or become damaged, causing a leak. To check the pump seal, turn off the pump and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Remove the pump cover and inspect the seal for any visible damage or wear. If the seal is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  2. Check the o-rings: O-rings are used to seal the connections between the pump and other components, such as the filter, heater, and pipes. If an o-ring is damaged or worn out, it can cause a leak. To check the o-rings, turn off the pump and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Locate the o-rings and inspect them for any visible damage or wear. If an o-ring is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
  3. Check the pipes and fittings: Loose or damaged pipes and fittings can also cause a leak. To check the pipes and fittings, turn off the pump and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Inspect the pipes and fittings for any visible damage or looseness. If a pipe or fitting is damaged or loose, it will need to be repaired or replaced.
If these troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a problem with the pump itself or another internal component. In this case, it may be necessary to have the pump repaired or serviced by a professional.

Hi the cup warming tray is very hot to the touch and steaming a lot???

The cup warming tray works by sitting directly over the main boiler. If there is something wrong with the cup tray there is probably something wrong with the boiler.

If there is lots of steam coming from the top of the machine you may have a leak. Check for puddles under the machine as well.

Leaks
Coffee leaking into the drip tray could be from the brew unit or the front door assembly. Water leaking probably means a hose connection to the boiler has failed. Don't just leave it, fix leaks immediately. Besides the electrical danger, the rust on working parts from long term leaks can be extensive.

Are you confident? Operate the machine with all covers off to see where the leak comes from. Be extremely careful, ready to pull the plug at any moment. Touch nothing inside! Burning, scalding and electrified! Check both boilers very closely while making coffee, most leaks become obvious on close examination.

Most leaks are due to failed o-rings in the connectors at the end of the teflon hoses, usually at the coffee boiler. Replacing the o-rings should stop the leak.

Source replacement o-rings. Slide the hairpin c-clip out of the side of the white connector and pull the teflon hose out. Fish the old o-ring out of the connector with a small hook or point if it didn't come out with the hose. Place the new o-ring over the end of the hose, snug against the brass collar. push the hose back into the coupling being careful to go straight and true so as not to damage the new o-ring. Some force may be required, be careful not to kink the hose. Blunt needle nose pliers to push the rear of the brass collar usually does it. Replace the c-clip and test for further leaks before reassembling.

My filter is leaking around the square "Hayward s-200" logo on the front of the unit. Is this item removable? Can I maybe take it off and replace a seal or something? I can't imagine why or how...

It sounds like you have a tank problem. First check your warranty if the filter is under five years old. If not you will probably have to buy a new filter. This is a strange place for a filter to fail though so I would check further up on the filter. Around the collar at the top is the logical place for problems. Or if this is a top mounted valve it could be the valve. If so you may just need to replace the valve or parts of it.

2004 honda shadow 600 VLX leaking fork seal bike has 600 miles on it should I replace left and right if only right is leaking.

check first to see if the leaking fork has any rust pitting on the chrome,if it has and its a very small blemish then fettle it off first, and just replace the leaking seal,as the saying goes..if it aint broke dont fix it,if the seals had been in the forks for years and the bike not used then consider replacing both..

Waste trap under bath leaks

put the putty under the flange where it makes contact with the inside of the bath, push the flange to the bath & tighten nut underneath. Trim off excess. Have an overflow pipe [not intergral] make sure the top & bottom of the collar have rubber seals
If the whole lot is plastic there may well be a leak down & along the thread of the waste.[it comes from the o/flow pipe collar] Silicone the thread and tighten nut. make sure it's dry first - silicone & water do not make a happy couple
