Prints one page and jams, displays paper jam

so it does print and exit one page before it jams? if so you have something wrong with the exit sensor. if it does not feed it all the way thru it might not be feeding paper in to the machine fast enough. the feed tires might be dirty.

Printer paper wrinkles up, won't feed through

1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

Normally something get stucked between the write roller and the small presure rollers.
You can released it by inserting a paper in the opposite direction as the feeding direction.between the rollers, and the turn the machine upside down for the obstacal to fall out. This help me 80 precent of the time.Otherwise you have to stip the machine to repair.
Good luck

Paper is getting crinkle up

If the paper if getting a fan fold and then jamming at the fuser unit, this would suggest a pick off finger may have come off its mount or spring. If the paper clears the fuser ok put has an elephant skin type wrinkle down it, then this would suggest fuser is past it's best and should be replaced. Remove the fuser and check there is nothing wrapped round one of the rollers. If all is clear, change the fuser.

Paper jam

One of your jam sensors may be stuck in the actuated position by a paper scrap or dust, giving a jam code to your printer. There are usually two sensors, one where the paper feeds, and one where the paper exits. Try this: hand-feed a sheet of paper through the machines paper path,IN THE DIRECTION THE PAPER NORMALLY FEEDS. This may force out whatever is actuating the sensors.
