SOURCE: TEAC DC-D2800 Digital Compact Hi-Fi System

check all wires to speaker are correct also if you take the unit apart you might find that their is 2 or 3 fuses inside it might be that one of these has blown.
Also check no dust has over heated anything as this is often the case when anything electrical has been off for a while.
Let me know how you get on ok

SOURCE: My Teac DC-D2800 volume knob

Possible that the analogue to digital converter is faulty in the audio signal control section- volume controller.
To confirm you must check the signals to the volume controller section , check for the digital signals to the A/D IC, check the digital signals from the remote to the processor and to the circuit.
You will be able to confirm with these input readings of voltages.

This sounds like an internal amplifier problem. Did you smell anything burn? Try turning it off completely and plugging it to a different outlet.

If all else fails, have it checked by an electronics technician...

HD radio stations are not coming in clear

see if there is a local/distant selector on your unit. It will make it so your radio will only let you find very strong stations, also check your antenna connection to make sure it is pushed all the way into the connector and is clean of corrosion or anything that could keep it from making good contact inside of the connection, you can use steel wool or scotchbrite pads on the surfaces to ensure a good connection.

What you need to do is look at the cartridge and find the model number of it. When you have that put it in Google and search for it. The stylus should be seen with that.

If the amplifier supplies a different resistance rating (ohms) than the speakers draw, it might automatically shut down the amplifier to protect from damage. Make sure the Teac output matches the speakers required input. Hooking up speakers that draw 8 ohms to an amp that supplies 2 ohms can cause amplifier damage.

I had the same problem but with a different TEAC docking product.
My TEAC would not recognize my ipod therefore I was unable to control my ipod via the docking station remote control.
Plug your ipod into the docking station and power down (reboot) your ipod. Once the ipod powers down (in the dock) restart the ipod (yes, while in the dock).
