Question about Refrigerators

Check for frost on the rear wall of the freezer,if so remove this panel,the evaporator coil is here,if its covered with ice use a hand held hair dryer to defrost it and then check the defrost heater under the coil for continuity,they go open(bad) if its o.k. then suspect the defrost control be it timer or adaptive board
