In order to get the bass you want, you'll run your amp switched as a two channel amp and you'll need to run your subwoofers in 4 ohm Mono that's 450 x 2 to give you 900 watts of power.

2, 2 ohm dual voice coils ran in series and bridged on the amp for each sub.

Otherwise, Single Voice Coil 4 ohm subwoofers bridged to amp.

What is the best amp setup to get that bakersfield tele sound with a fender tele.

Normally, the best way to get a very clean sound is to set the master to maximum and then bring up the preamp gain to the level you need.

Why my transmission wont change the gear automatically

It sounds like you may need to have the shift solenoid & shift motor checked on your transmission.
This is my best guess without knowing the year, make, and model.

I hope this helps you.

I just purchased a Yamaha RX-V465 AV Receiver, and I cannot get any sound out of it except for when I have Tuner selected. I have my OPPO CD/DVD player hooked up via HDMI and via the stereo analog audio...

Also the test tone is working OK (Setup / Speaker Setup / Test Tone)? Have you used automatic speaker setup with the supplied YPAO microphone?
For HDMI, you need to configure the receiver to "take" out the audio from HDMI. Go to Setup / Function Setup / HDMI / Audio and select "Amp" to route the audio to receiver, or "Amp+TV" for audio to go both to receiver and to TV. You can also check in Options Menu / Signal Info that receiver has recongnized the sound and what format it thinks it is in.

No sound but green light is on

First of all Id like to state that Reality car amps arent the best quality amps on the market and they normally will burn out on you. From what you are telling me it looks like your sub outs are defective, the output signal from the car amplifier is dead usually due to weak or defective terminals or poor soldering by the manufacturer, very common with lower quality amps. My suggestion is to replace the amp with at least a mid grade amp like a sony xplod or pioneer amp , if money is an issue then you can have the outputs checked out , check the wiring and also make sure that your ground is solid and making good contact to the cars chassis otherwise you wont get sound. Check the Amp turn on cable which is the small blue wire and check that your radio has the amp turn on or subwoofer signal turned on. Let me know your status and Ill do my best to help you out.

Good luck,
Lex.

How do i get the best sound from my infinity 1250w subwoofers

Make sure the ohm's are the same on all your speakers and amp.
You amp watt should be equal or higher then your speakers total amps.
You base box should be completely air tight, and have about 1/2 of the box stuffed with cotton.
Make sure you use a good thick speaker cables to connect from the amp to the speakers.
and finally, make sure your trunk seals tight and wont rattle... cause nothing sounds worse then someone pulling next to you and all you hear is a buzzing sound from the trunk rattling... Also... sell the infinity's and get something like memphis, or panasonics. :P

Only one of four speakers puts out sound!

Check all your RCA"smake sure they all have output..Then use a fluke metere, or any meter you can get that tests ohms, and measure each speaker..they should all read arround 4. If the outputs from the deck are good, and the speakers measure correctly, then you have got yourself a bad amp.

10 inch subs need help

It sounds like the wiring either to the amp or to the subs is put together wrong. This can be because you have them setup in stereo but have the sub on bridge mode or vica versa. This can also be from how you ran the audio input wither from speakers or rca..either wired wrong or the switch for the two options is wrong. Also make sure your gain is turned up. Sound also depends on what kind of box it is in. It HAS to be in a box.

Help with Live Sound

I am available as a sound system designer.  Your request is a bit simple.  Given the complexity of the situation there are way too many factors involved to give a simple one or two paragraph solution.    Installing a sound system involves several areas of expertise.    1. Acoustic analysis of the venue. 2. Analysis of the electrical system. 3. Budget! 4. Procurement. 5. Rigging 6. Operation and maintenance protocols.      Fixya is an advise site for do it yourself solutions.  If you want advise. My advise is to find a consultant, pay them to give you a sound system design, buy the equipment new or second hand. Hire a competent sound engineer, carpenter, rigger, licensed electrician who can build and install your PA in your venue.  Best of Luck! Hi lumberman597

The cool thing about guitar amps is that you can mess with the knobs until you find the sound that you like. There is no particular way to use it, just try to find a tone that suits you. Start with gain controls down and tone knobs at 12o'clock. Turn up the gain(one at a time) to get distortion and more sustain to your sound. Turn the distortion up midrange down and treble up for metal sounds, more bass and midrange for bluesy sounds. just play around with it and you will see what I mean. Here is a guide from Fender on how to setup your guitar. If you are not sure, a good guitar tech can make any old axe feel and sound great with a good setup
unfortunately, Fender do not have an electronic copy of your owners manual to download, but you can buy one for $5 direct from them here It is only a 1 page manual.... so you will get more from just messing with it.

Musicians spend there whole lives tuning and tweaking knobs to get the sound they are looking for. It wont take you long to start doing the same.:)

robotek

the best thing to do would be look in the manual, it may say what ones you need, or find out the sizing and take it to a local halfords etc, they will be able to tell if you take the amp, and it wont cost much at all.

cheers, adam
